DataRealm Internet Services was founded in 1995, just as the Internet was emerging from an academic system into the public's eye, with the purpose of providing a space for the first organizations to realize the potential of using the Internet to publish their web sites. Given the huge technical hurdles at the time with the birth of a new industry, DataRealm instantly emerged as not just offering
an excellent value, but also was a true leader in customer support which was a cornerstone of the company that has not changed in the past 15 years.
While DataRealm's product offerings have expanded over time, to include not only shared web hosting but also Dedicated Servers and Virtual Private Servers (VPS), the company remains focused exclusively on hosting technologies and the best support in the industry.
What unique selling points do you offer?
Datarealm can be a full IT department for a web developer at a cost of just pennies a day. With our high level of technical support we help developers come up with unique solutions for the clients and allow them to go after larger corporate clients. We also act as a sounding board as they work on their own quotes and development tasks. As we have been hosting complex applications for years we have a lot of experience that web developers can tap into to add value to their own business.

Describe your target market?
Our target market is small business and web developers, but this has not precluded several fortune 500 companies from realizing that we offer a tremendous cost advantage to other hosting providers without any loss of service or quality.
How is your company planning for the future?
We are constantly building out additional datacenter space, adding network capacity, and adding new services our clients require such as backup solutions and security scanning.
In the past 15 years our mission has remained virtually unchanged -- we provide the tools and expertise to host web sites in the current environment. While the tools themselves may change (for example we have only been offering virtual private servers for about a year) we expect to be in exactly the same position in 5 years. Offering cutting edge hosting, top quality support, and hosting plans that people can afford.
What benefits can you offer your customers?
Our prices commonly categorize us into the budget class of unmanaged hosting providers, but what sets us apart from other web hosting companies is our willingness to work diligently on any issue that arises -- typically at no cost. It is common of many budget hosting companies to introduce hourly support fees or per ticket fees to offset otherwise unsustainable low monthly hosting fees. However, at Rackmounted.Com we have a tightly controlled cost structure so we do not need to come up with other gimmicks or ways of tricking clients into additional unexpected fees. Excellent support is a right owed to all clients regardless of their own technical abilities.
